Event

Sirniö Blacksmith Event is an annual event in Finland celebrating
smithery traditions. Especially people who have already tried their hand
at forging are interested in the week-long event, which gives them the
opportunity to learn from the experts. This summer marks the tenth Sirniö
Blacksmith Event which will take place the week after Midsummer.

Sirniö Blacksmith Event has a lot to offer: there are courses all
through the week and forging from morning to evening.
The tar is burned and the event programme also includes burning a
charcoal pile and heating the smoke sauna. The event's very own pub, Ahjo
& Alasin, provides food in the daytime and some activities in the
evening.
Sirniö Blacksmith Event ends with Saturday's Blacksmith Dance with live
music and Sunday's main celebration.
